The Tempest was directed by Dr. Steven Wood with the theme of Vikings. I stage managed for this show and I had a fun time learning the intricacies of the Shakespearean text. It was shocking how many parallels this story made with Vikings, but my favourite parallel was the decision to have Ariel played by two actors to allude to Odens birds. I was able to apply my previous knowledge about stage managing to this play and it was a success.
